Currently this is done by uploading APOpticalFlow_test.pde and the Python 
script mentioned and http://code.google.com/p/arducopter/wiki/AC2_OptFlow?wl=en

I haven't had success so far with APM2 and APOpticalFlow_test.pde providing 
vald data.

ok, a cool idea.  It's not super easy to implement but not impossible.

If this is added, can I please add the request that some way of returning other 
raw sensor values for subsequent debug display? I'd be delighted to see battery 
voltage/current values and sonar/barometric pressure data (as distinct from 
"cooked" altitude.
