Two player option (Game entering mode) #19

I'd love a two player option and not against an engine, so I could replay some games for reference.

Edit: This is not really necessary of course. I get that CoreChess is aiming to be a GUI for engines.

Also a mode for Engine vs Engine. This, in the other hand, should be a feature since CoreChess is a GUI for engines.

When I think about it, instead of a two player option, which is used rarely, if at all, on a single computer anyway, there may be a "game entering" mode. Which allows user to play both sides, enter variations if necessary and maybe play against an engine from a given position, to try out variations.

Scid is in this mode by default for example. It has a "Play" menu entry to play a game. I like that CoreChess is ready to play against an engine by default, but a "game entering" mode would be great.

Maybe after variations feature implemented.

Do you think something like this would work? immagine
