Compiling Example Three from iPhone Open Dev. Book gives error

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Compiling the third example in the book.
2.
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

Should be a happy compile. But, instead I get:

/usr/local/bin/arm-apple-darwin-ld: Undefined symbols:
_CGColorCreate
_CGColorSpaceCreateWithName
_kCGColorSpaceGenericRGB
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
make: *** [MyExample] Error 1

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

4.2 on Ubuntu Gutsy Gibon 7.10

Please provide any additional information below.

Example 1 & 2 compiled successfully and ran on the iphone.

'-framework CoreGraphics' is missing from LDFLAGS in the makefile. (Not sure if 
that step is in the book.)
