STUN Usage

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.Install imsdroid in device.
2.I have an android SIP server(proxy+registrar) application which i installed 
in other device.
3.I want to send register request from imsdroid to my server in other device.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
REGISTER should be successful.

But how can my request reach my server. when i tried with the mobile ip address 
, its not working.
I heard tat this could be possible with STUN.
And i had seen some STUN settings in imsdroid.
Please tell me the configuration i need to do in STUN settings to make this 
work.
Please help me on this.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

STUN only concern incoming requests.

I am totally confused about STUN.
Can you please tell me whether the scenario which I mentioned above
(sending SIP request from client in one android device to the server in another 
android device over 3G using STUN or TURN) is possible or not?
