Value proposition

As a user with accessibility needs, I want to be able to navigate and interact with the website easily so that I can access all the content and features without barriers.

Description

The purpose of this task is to make the website https://capstone-project-nina-l64g7lufb-salaos.vercel.app/ more accessible for users with different types of disabilities. By implementing simple changes to the website's code, we can make it easier for users with disabilities to interact with the website.

Acceptance criteria

• [ ] All images should have descriptive alternative text descriptions.
• [ ] All form fields should have labels to assist screen reader users.
• [ ] The website's color contrast should meet minimum accessibility standards.
• [ ] The website's structure should use proper headings to assist with navigation.
• [ ] The website should not rely on color alone to convey information.

Tasks

• [ ] Add alt attributes to all images on the website to provide descriptive alternative text descriptions.
• [ ] Add aria-label attributes to form fields to assist screen reader users in understanding their purpose.
• [ ] Increase color contrast on the website to meet minimum accessibility standards.
• [ ] Ensure that the website's structure uses proper headings (i.e. h1, h2, etc.) to assist with navigation and comprehension.
• [ ] Ensure that all important information is conveyed using both color and text, not color alone.

Hey there! Wonderful User Story. ✨ Just a couple of notes: Since you're using animations, you may want to think about implementing behavior with reduced motion.

Other than that:

I'm having a little trouble with the word "all" doing a lot of work here. I think someone doing a review wouldn't necessarily know what all important information actually is, so they'd have a little bit of trouble during quality assurance. I'd just get rid of "all" and "important" and call it a day. :) Any information should be treated as important.
