Internet Explorer 11 - Poor Appearance

Issue

Clients using Internet Explorer have a drastically interface output from what you'd expect in comparison to using Firefox, Edge or Chrome.

Expected Behavior

Interface should look as close as possible to how it appears on Chrome/Firefox without appearing off to the end user.

Actual Behavior

Interface has offset forms etc that look incorrect and can appear confusing to the average end user when using Internet Explorer 11.

Possible Fix

Build onto the current SASS file to handle Internet Explorer specific appearances for IE11.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Use a Windows Machine and launch Internet Explorer 11.
2. Browse to a SuiteCRM Application
3. Look at a large form (create an Opportunity for example)

Users using Internet Explorer have a drastically different view from end users using Firefox, Edge or Chrome.

Your Environment

• SuiteCRM Version used: 7.9.8
• Browser name and version (e.g. Chrome Version 51.0.2704.63 (64-bit)): Internet Explorer 11
• Environment name and version (e.g. MySQL, PHP 7): MySQL, PHP7.1
• Operating System and version (e.g Ubuntu 16.04): Windows 10

Confirmed, its not looking good with Internet Explorer 11, specially the dropdown fields. But it works fine with IE Edge!
