I'm afraid I'm unable to replicate this, at the moment.
These are the steps I've taken to replicate, Please let me know if I've missed anything / misunderstood your issue:
I navigated to my User Profile and set up an Inbound Account (selecting a Monitored Folder/Trash Folder/Sent Folder)
During creation of this Inbound Account, I created/associated an "Outgoing Email" account, using the same Email address
I then navigate to Email Module->Compose, and send an Email with this Account.
If I then go to the Email Module ->Select Folder->Select the "Sent" folder of my Email Account I can see the email I have just sent from the CRM.
I believe emails sent from the CRM will appear in the "Sent" folder of your Mail Account, if one has been selected.
Please let me know if you have any additional information!

I am on version 7.13.3, and I am NOT able to see any emails sent via compose new email, in the Sent folder. Emails are getting sent, though. Should I file a separate issue or wait for a fix on this issue?

according to our previous reply - having the inbound and outbound emails created, are you able to achieve the expected behaviour with the provided steps?

Hi, I'm sorry I didn't reply sooner.
I have tested on a fresh installation of SuiteCRM 7.14.3 and I still cannot see the sent emails in the module list view. The only things I have configured is:
I am attaching a video so that you can better understand the steps I have taken.
Also, in this version I don't see the Email Accounts tab in a user's email settings. Has this tab been replaced by the Outbound Email module menu option?

Issue
After configuring the SMTP data and making several sends from the email module, these are not shown in the list view.
After solving the previous issue, the listed emails do not show the email subject correctly.
Expected Behavior
Sent and received emails should be seen in the list view of the emails module
Actual Behavior
Emails not showing in list view
Possible Fix
Call the parent class's preDisplay method in the modules/Emails/views/view.list.php file
Modify the layoutdefs to display the name field instead of the subject field. In addition, we have relocated the fields in this layout and we have activated some that we consider relevant.
