For now, the Documentation needs to be functional also for people running SuiteCRM v7.x. And there is no public/legacy
folder there.
So if this is changed, it needs to explain both cases. However, I guess the policy so far has been to just leave v7 docs as they are, and only mention the new stuff in the v8 sections. I know that this is not ideal and generates confusion for new people who are clueless about the whole v7/v8 evolution...
Hello all,
@kleinermann thanks for your contribution and @pgorod thanks for your comment,
@kleinermann, this particular file you suggested to change is under the section 2 (Developer Guide), which provides more information on SuiteCRM 7:
on the other hand - there's a section 5 dedicated to SuiteCRM 8 particularly:
Have you had a chance to come across the SuiteCRM 8 guide? Maybe, it's worth mentioning about root folder in section 5? Or do you think it's better to mention both options on the page you pointed out?
Thanks in advance!

The documentation says the config.php files are in the root SuiteCRM folder. But there is no mentioning that the root SuitCRM folder is currently the legacy folder. This is counter intuitive and should be mentioned in some way in the documentation. Therefore i have made a note in brackets of the file path. Other suggestions welcome.
