Target .NetStandard 2.0 #50

Would it be possible to have a .NetStandard 2.0 version of this package so that we can use it in modern applications.

It should not depend on things like System.ServiceModel. Instead it should use the new Nuget wcf packages: System.ServiceModel.Http System.ServiceModel.NetTcp

Can we get an update on the status of this? This is a lot more then an enhancement. Anyone who uses .net core can not consume this library.

Is this product still being maintained? I haven't seen a commit for over 7 months.
