A lot of people want to know the plan of this dataset. I think this is a good place to discuss it.

OK I think that's a fair concern. Regarding the ICLR decisions: we do believe that the dataset is ultimately useful to the community. Certainly a number of people in the community share this belief, this is evident in the number of follow up work WikiSQL has accumulated in a short period of time. That said, I do think the ICLR reviews raise a number of very legitimate points, many of which we are addressing in order to improve this work. We are also always considering follow up ideas in this area because we think there are a number of interesting problems in this line of work.

As I noted on your other thread, I'm happy to discuss these conceptual ideas but would rather keep the issues page related to bug tracking.
