Can't connect to a Hamachi IP behind my router #141

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Unable to connect to my home PC with AndroidVNC using my Hamachi IP.
2. Can connect to my home PC using AndroidVNC using my public IP (public) and
port forwarding on my router.
3. I am trying to be able to connect using my Hamachi IP so that I don't have
to leave the port open, since Hamachi makes it so you can access the PC without
router port forwarding.
4. My full remote software, NetOp, connects to my home PC from work using my
Hamachi IP, without port forwarding on my router, no problems, so it should be
possible from AndroidVNC, but it won't connect...

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
AndroidVNC version 0.4.2, most recent in the Market, and running Android 2.2,
version FRF72.

I don't think this is a defect. The Hamachi IP will only work if you're running
the Hamachi client on devices that you want to connect. Try connecting to your
Hamachi IP on a random computer without Hamachi installed and it definitely
won't work. I assume that you've set up Hamachi on your home PC and your work
PC, which is why your remote software works, but Hamachi doesn't exist for
Android.

This problem is not caused by AndroidVNC. It is caused by the lack of a Hamachi
client for Android. Maybe, if there was a Hamachi client for Android some time
in the future, AndroidVNC will work, but till then you'll have to connect via
your public IP.
