Video upload to picasa fails

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. google  picasa create --title k/1 --date=2010-07-25 --tags=k mvi_5871.avi

What is the expected output? 
Loading file mvi_5871.avi to album k/1

What do you see instead?
Loading file mvi_5871.avi to album k/1
Failed to upload mvi_5871.avi. (400: Bad Request)

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system? What
version of gdata-python-client (aka python-gdata)?
Using ubuntu lucid with googlecl 0.9.8-1 (from .deb download) and python-gdata 
1.2.4-0ubuntu2 (from apt-get).

Works like a charm; upload shows no error messages and is immediately reflected 
on picasaweb.google.com and after a minute or two is playable there as well.
