Downloading large files from docs fails when RAM consumed #469

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.docs get BIGFILE
2.select destination with plenty of space
3.download starts but never completes

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
download completes

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system? What
version of gdata-python-client (aka python-gdata)?
googlecl latest build from svn , gdata 2.0.13, python 2.7, XP

Please provide any additional information below.

Downloading large files from docs fails when RAM consumed, if I download a file 
slightly smaller than my available RAM it downloads ok. If I download a file 
slightly larger than my available RAM then the RAM fills then gets slammed down 
by the OS so the download never completes.
