Steps to reproduce:

Open a terminal and devour into any window.
While that window is still open, open another terminal and devour into any window again.

What will happen is that the new terminal window will disappear for a split second before defaulting to split view.

This happens on i3wm.

I found that this issue doesn't happen with the original devour.sh so looks like I will be using that one instead from now on.
