Right now, if there's no word highlighted, this plugin acts no different from default: It just inserts the link, with no piping.
The problem with this is that note titles can change, so that the linked text will not be the same if I happen to change the title of the linked note.
The way to fix this is to always use piping. So when I choose a note to link, this plugin will automatically insert a pipe character and place the insertion point after it, even when I don't have text selected when I invoke it.
