I wasn't sure any kind of automated testing is needed so kept PR simple.

Sorry about that @SergeAstapov! I thought a release with this in it had gone out long ago—that probably means we have a bunch of private codebases around here that are using local declarations for local-class 😬

Anyway, released now in 2.1.0!
