[REQUEST] SIMBRIEF import doesn't set fuel/weights #219

Is your feature request related to a problem? If so, please describe.

Doing a simbrief import of a flight plan, doesn't set the fuel/weight of the aircraft. Instead it leaves the default MSFS gives you when the plane first spawns.

If you view the fuel/weights panel, its not matching the simbrief plan values, but rather the defaults. Throwing off the plane balance and distance.. Making one have to manually figure out the correct values in the panel to get as close to the simbrief plan (which is not easy to do).

Describe the feature you want implemented.

That simbrief import would set the fuel/weight like the FBW A320 does when importing a simbrief plan. So the rest of the plane values will match for a flight.

I would imagine it would need to do a smart fuel layout in the tanks (something FBW does to make it balance).

It originally did work but either SimBrief or Asobo made changes which mucked it up and no longer works.

I think your talking the FMC, but it appears it never updated the actual fuel tanks in MSFS. FBW added that awhile back to update them using an even distribution to match the simbrief fuel load. Without updating the actual fuel tanks, MSFS is not going to see the change in weight.

Just a reminder, has been almost 1 year and the issue is still present.

This isn't an issue. We simply haven't implemented it. This will be done in the future

besides, i don't think perf init uplink should set the actual fuel or weights, this should instead be done somewhere else in the cdu or in the future efb
