CIFS network drive mount failed #5

Hi Sam,

I just wanted to give you a shoutout for the awesome custom-built PCP you made. It sounds way better than the official one - I can really tell the difference!

Anyway, I've got a question for you. I've been trying to mount a network drive in the LMS using CIFS, but I can't seem to get it to work, while it works fine on the official build. I thought the LMS in your custom-build is missing a PCP filesystem extension and tried to install "filesystems-5.15.35-pcpCore.tcz" from the pcp official repo, but it won't install because of a kernel mismatch.

Do you have any advice on how I can fix this? I'm really keen to mount my drive using your custom build PCP.

Edit: I am using the pCP8-Q264ax version.

Here are some info provided by Paul, the developer of PCP: https://forums.slimdevices.com/forum/user-forums/linux-unix/1626471-picoreplayer-v8-2-0-32bit-edit-fuse-conf#post1642511

The PCP441 doesn't support CIFS. Choose the NFS to replace NFS is good idea. The SQ of NFS is more better than CIFS.

Thanks Sam! That's unfortunate, my device only allows CIFS access but not NFS.
