They work on wes7 for tv but their win drivers not much good. So currently getting one up on Debian but still some driver issue getting it ok for TSDuck. Fingers crossed at this stage. I made a couple of stupid blues this week.
Meanwhile here (Bali) I have a Jc sat 2b strong signal on a 1.8 ready to go. Interestingly the gx6605 and GX6102 receivers I was mentioning, turn out to have runtime writable flash and run busy box and are a nice cheap linux box, just kill the dvb app and the IO is ready to go, easy enough to add the LRIT SDR code to with an sdr in the usb. However that project has been on hold for a few moths. More so the GX6102 version has a bar led signal strength on the display.
Further it turns out they will show the HRIT signal strength in the setup menu and on the front if you enter the transponder manually. They won't lock as we discussed before but are good for lining up the dish. Possibly other sat boxs will do the same.
Meanwhile the Geo Komsat LRIT setup still runs fine with no drops or errors with the converted Indovision Sband lnb on the 80cm offset dish they are normally used with up here.
I cant see that lnb mod coming up in any search, maybe you could add a link on your page to it, I see quite a few locals up using your project and these lnbs and dishes are sitting around unused on house roofs all over Indonesia but I don't know if anyone has even found it.
Hello again Sam
Currently trying to get it on a Technisat Skystar s2 pci card on Debian. I saw it mentioned on the South American GEOnetcast blog these cheap cards worked ok with Centos https://geonetcast.wordpress.com/category/hardware/page/3/

And one question.
You mention getting this HRIT project over to gnu radio, were you think of implementing one of the better SDRs or staying with the DVB receiver?
