This really depends on the object you want to modify and its connection with the RPi - there's no standard default way to achieve this. There are many tutorials out there for connecting up external hardware to the RPi. For example: https://projects.drogon.net/raspberry-pi/gpio-examples/tux-crossing/gpio-examples-1-a-single-led/

yes I am - I got the radiometer waiting for action in my studio! But, I feel that I need to find out first weither or not using internet will just make this part more troublesome.
How do you imagine connecting the radiometer with the RP?
Hi Sam,
I have no plan of connecting the radiometer with the RP. The plan was to connect a light (possibly a laser pointer) to the RP via the GPIO. The laser would then switch on and off, depending on the action dictated via programming (with Sonic Pi or else?). The laser is pointed towards the propeller inside the bulb of the radiometer. When switched on, the heat/infrared (?) of the laser triggers the propeller that hence, starts to spin. Like in this youtube video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O15jRH8phXc
This sounds reasonable. Are you ok to research how to do this yourself, or do you need help?
i could try; if I'm stuck or it takes too long to get to the point of getting this done, I'll get back to u. Thanks Sam

coming from internet. For example, there might be a connection between the Raspberri Pi and a LED light.
