General content reflections for next year #29

Week 1

short lecture 1.2: maybe remove data viz history? shorten discussion times
ask students to review lecture 1.3 ({ggplot2} review) before the quarter starts and reserve some amount of time (20 min?) during week 1 to answer questions
move a lecture from week 3 into week 1 (week 2 was a holiday)

Week 3

assign data wrangling as pre-course prep and reserve some time (~15 min) to answer questions in class

Week 4

didn't make it through the last few examples (HDRs) of the visualizing relationships lecture, but also had to cover all of the visualizing evolution lecture (aside from data wrangling) this week, which was supposed to happen in week 3

Week 5

was on zoom this year (rain) but still think we wouldn't have gotten through it all. Need to finish choropleth in week 6; should have students wrangle as pre-class prep (we just talked through it, didn't actually live-code)
