Firstly, thank you so much for ingesting the dataset that i requested: 'ESA Fire Climate Change Initiative (Fire_cci): AVHRR-LTDR Burned Area Pixel product, version 1.1'. It's been really useful! Just out of interest, I was just wondering if there were any issues with this GLASS AVHRR NPP product that make it challenging to ingest or whether it's just low on the priority list? Cheers!

Hi @harrybmwells Thanks for reaching out, I am glad you find the catalog useful. I try to get to all requests slowly but since it's only me working on all requests and this is an unfunded voluntary work some datasets take more time than others.

In this case the other limitation is the amount of preprocessing required to convert from hdf to geotif since that is the only raster format that can be ingested into GEE right now. This would require some extra effort in getting the data download and preprocessed before ingest to begin. Hence the lower priority if that makes sense. Thanks for the ping though

Thanks for the swift response! i thought that might be the case - good to know. i deeply appreciate all of the work that you are doing! :)
