Describe the bug

I see that large areas of the southwestern US are incorrect -- in particular Los Angeles and Las Vegas are there as imperviuos surface in 1995, but in 2000 onward are gone. This isn't consistent with other areas in the US (or the world but I haven't done a systematic comparison). So, might be an error in the original dataset, but thought I'd check that there wasn't some weird indexing issue with a tile. Thanks!!!

I looked at the difference in impervious surface class from 1995 to 2020, globally. Looks like it is only in the southwestern US. Black means was IS in 1995 but not in 2020. Given that this is just for a few areas (maybe tiles), I'm guessing processing errors on the original producer of the data. Screenshot 2024-08-05 at 6 28 49 PM
