I've packaged phog for Arch: https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/phog
Once I took a 24 hour detour into figuring out why Phosh suddenly completely broke (https://gitlab.archlinux.org/archlinux/packaging/packages/phosh/-/merge_requests/1) I was able to successfully start a Phosh session under greetd+phog. Phog is much nicer than gdm on the samsung-a5.
