Can you (Optionally) use the already implemented workflows and states of the issues and just map them to the collumns?

I thought about the implementations and found a problem, redmine issue doesn't have 'stage' concept but ekanban has, and a kanban state must belong to a kanban stage at creation. So it's not that easy as expect and I need take more time to think about this.
