Highlevel:

No auth instead of twitter. Users just select a name. On a local network users can be trusted.
Playlist managed by Mopidy. This allows to modify the playlist with different clients. For example the party host uses a full-featured MPD client and the guests use Apollo.
Cover art
Search goes to all back-ends, especially local.
