When using or placing elements, voxels, fuel, etc, the choice of whether to take it from the nanopack or linked container should be automatic, and not require switching the default container.
The selected container should take priority, but if it does not contain the required item, the other container should also be searched; if that contains the item, it should be taken from there.
It makes sense to explicitly state which container to use first (especially when picking things up), but it makes absolutely no sense to require us to manually switch containers endlessly just to use something. That is not "gameplay", it's just bad user interface.
