Email stop working with special characters in subject #615

Hi, I found possible issue. I tried to set: GITLAB_EMAIL_DISPLAY_NAME = Foo [Gitlab] or GITLAB_EMAIL_DISPLAY_NAME ="Foo [Gitlab]"

and the sending emails (via default gmail) stop working.

I use docker-compose for running. Env variables inside container looks correct. Image version sameersbn/gitlab:8.4.5
