[Bug]: Pan and Tilt 2K (IndoorCam Mini) T8414 (New Device not supported) #328

What happened?

This seems like a new device (possibly released 2 months ago) and there's no support for it. If you need help to getting it work just contact me through discord as DJEncouragement and I'll give you access to it.

Hey, it should appear here. At least you will get a message not supported but not 0 devices.

Well the issues was the pi zero w so I changed to a pc, but now I have a different issue... I can't login because it keeps asking for a captcha in the logs...

I got it working by creating another account.. but the cameras doesn't work. This issue can be closed, because its been transferred to here: https://github.com/bropat/eufy-security-client/issues/100

There's a couple of issues... Based on the logs it looks like it detects the cameras as hubs, but because it's not a hub it ignores the UUIDs. Also the security switch doesn't work and gets stuck on loading when trying to set it to home, away, or night.

I had a similar issue with my outdoor floodlight camera (the T8420). I've submitted a PR which resolves the issue. 👍🏼

please remove the guest admin account, make sure to use the latest Eufy App version then readd the admin guest account and try again
