Beta 43 problems #382

What happened?

Sorry To wrap this all in one I didn’t want to make loads of tickets in case it was simple issue.

first of the latest beta is incredibly quick unbridging the doorbell as finally got performance I am after stream loads quick and motion alerts thumbnails are super quick.

however when doorbell is rang no thumbnail is generated on any device and the Apple TV fails to load stream in the PIP at all. Also noticed if you go to home app the thumbnail says it’s refreshed but always just loads the last event thumbnail not a fresh one is this expected? as previously it was generated fresh even though was bit slower could have been bridged issue at the time.

Lastly the Homebase away and home mode seems to be switched I have checked config and mapping is the same so unsure why it shows like this something seems wrong if I try to switch to home again it says triggered and can’t switch back until set to away which in eufy app seems to map to home mode bit odd!

Once I can resolve these issues the plug-in will be near on perfect for me so I would really like to say big thanks to everyone involved in developing this!

Common issues was checked couldn't see obvious answer as to cause of the issue but it's all related to the ringing activity as motion alerts work perfectly! But ring make chime and notification but no snapshot and Apple TV won't generate the live stream upon doorbell ring either

Still a lot of to do but I'm lacking of free time. Please bear with us. You can still go back to beta.33 which was long of stable !

No problem I run eufy app alongside anyway I just wanted to log the things I found if you want me to test anything etc more than happy to help where I can!

I can confirm the force image refresh option in advanced setting does indeed work I did find that was slow to generate the snapshot and homebridge flagged this in logs despite running unbridged but none less it generates the snapshot

And the home away is fixed too and oddly before even updating to latest beta the thumbnails on doorbell ring fixed itself somehow!

thanks for your feedback. For the speed of having snapshot/livestream it highly depend on your hardware where you run home bridge. On my setup (vm 2vcpu 4ram), it tooks 1-2 sec to until I get something.

I had that suspicion as mine is an old pi3 I had laying about as shortage of everything else at moment so once get upgrade will sort that thanks!
