Show images while loading, progressively

What steps will reproduce the problem?

1. Open a large,  4.4 MB on disk at 6000x3000 pixels PSD file.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

* In Xee 2, the file is loaded and displayed progressively. 
* In Xee 3 (App Store version), there is first a long loading period, then the 
image is shown. 

The progressive display was much better.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

Xee 3, App Store version.

This is unfortunately impossible, without sacrificing a lot of functionality.
