Yes, I can see this now that I finally have Yosemite too.

Have the same here. In full screen mode under Yosemite the gray bar appears.
When the picture goes full screen, it extends to the sides of the screen and
then the picture immediately shrinks a centimeter smaller and the gray bar
appears.
Hope you can fix it !! I use your program every day (i am a photographer and
work with images all day)
Thanks for all you work!!!
regards, Hans

Apple seems to have cheerfully broken even more stuff in Yosemite. Let's see if
it's fixable...

I have the same issue,
looks like it's Yosemite compatibility issue,
since Xee3 worked perfectly before I upgrade to Yosemite.
Please fix this issue!

I tried this, it cannot open anything, directed it to open a folder definitely
have images in it( not even in subfolders), gave me TV's no signal screen. (it
also appeared to be a trial version)

Downside of purchasing through the app store, downloading the DMG wants me to
enter my licence.. which I don't know.

Unfortunately there's no automatic way to convert an App Store license to one
for the non-App Store version. Wish I had one, but no... The non-App Store
version is better in general, thanks to the annoyances and limitations of the
sandboxing on the App Store.

Thanks you, now it works perfectly, well, with 29 days remaining.
Please send licenses to people like me who purchased in App Store.

Yes, if you're sending licenses that would be easier? Alternatively please give
an ETA for the update via App Store? Thanks, David.

Nobody can give an ETA for an App Store release other than Apple. Sometimes it
takes days, sometimes months.

This problem still persists for me in 3.4.
Sometimes it opens correctly, sometimes with these bars.

Can you take a screenshot to show exactly what is happening?
And can you also use the About Xee menu option to make sure you are not
accidentally loading an older version?
