Figure out best software to edit videos on Linux #2

I usually prefer PiTiVi for the reason that it is incredibly simple. However, last time I checked, which was I think a year or two ago, it was incredibly buggy and slow. The key is to save like every (and I meant EVERY) time you do something important. But despite it being buggy and slow, everything else is just so much more complicated. This is like the closest thing that Linux has to iMovie or whatever

Can you check out some of the other options out there to see if there's anything that works okay and isn't too buggy?

Playing RPGs has made me a habitual saver, so that shouldn't be too big of an issue, but I suspect there might be something better now.

Have you looked at freeseer, recordmydesktop, or openshot? Also, YouTube has some editing, I think. It might be useful to check that out as well.

Sure, I'll take a look. But I think that all the other ones might be a little more complicated than necessary.

Also, would you be okay with screencasters that only output ogg, considering you can just convert it?

I use Unity.

Ogg would probably be okay, but I have been annoyed with converters before, so if there's one that only outputs to ogg, you should also figure out the right program / command to convert.

Thanks for taking a look! -Sam
