added a missing return command to clearing a status #24

Hi, thanks so much for putting the effort into contributing to this project. I'm having a really hard time duplicating the issue you're having. I do get it sometimes but not others but the return key doesn't seem to be the heart of the issue. I know it's been a long time since you submitted this (Apologies for that) but could you try again on the latest Slack version?
