3 years ago It seems that, at some point, after loading screens with videos player sampotts, all the videos, even those that played correctly in a first time, become black and the player can't load them anymore. Then you can keep changing screens, and at some point, the videos will load again and play just fine. And it begin again... etc. etc. It's like the plyr is overcharged, or overloaded. We are trying many many things to fix this issue for 2 days, but the result is always the same. All the clue we have followed are not concluding.
Expected behaviour
I am using this player on my Angular7 app. There are several pages on my app and each page has one or several videos on it. The video should be played in any pages, any case.
Actual behaviour
The problem is that on chrome, after some working videos, the video is only showing black screen. It doesn't show videos any more. So, I have tried this. I clicked home button on mobile or tablet, and then open chrome again, the video shows again. This problem only happens on chrome. Works fine on Mozilla.
What we tried
We doubted about the video, audio tracks, or even video resolution, and tried different tracks and resolution. It sometimes loads video well if we use 1280X800 resolution instead of 1920X1200, but in many cases, it remains black after some working videos. One more - we tried to convert a flv to mp4 with VLC converter, and this issue happened. When we converted with ffmpeg process, this issue did not happen.
