Mobile Not Playing and Full Screen Problem #2395

Hi all,

Everything is fine on the web but in mobile ios safari and chrome, there is no full screen and no video is loaded. The link is below, any ideas?

That's JW Player, not Plyr...

Sorry, I'm trying a different player, now plyr, can you check with mobile ios?

It's not full screen and additionally I guess it's trying to download the whole video on mobile.

I tried as you said but it doesn't work on mobile, does it work for you?

@myjpl If you are having issues with mobile on iOS/iPadOS, it's likely due to an API change on iOS 15. For some reason the latest Plyr 3.6.12 is not working full screen on iOS unless you have iosnative set to true but then iPAdOS full screen stops working. I found the solution personally to be, downgrade to Plyr 3.6.7 and keep iosnative set to true, it's the last version of Plyr that works FullScreen on both iOS/iPadOS without issues. But again make sure you set iosnative to true.
