Hey. I also have (a rather outdated) LG GA-B499TGBM, can test something with it. As far as I know, it only reports and sets current modes and also can alarm if the door is open.

It seems my GWB459SMDZ though not old but can not report an open door.

i have gmj936nshv that have temperature set support and open door support.
