Altitude error (geoid ?)

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.Altitude is wrong, about 50 meters above the real (France, Motorola Defy+)

What is expected? What do you get instead?
Geoid correction. You said it is implemented in the 1.3.1 version, but it is 
without effect apparently. I don't find nothing about it in the help and in the 
parameters.

What version of the product are you using?
1.4.1

Altitude is correct with the GPS TEST (Android) software

I Have the same problem with 1.6 version on Samsung Galaxy S3 in France (+/- 
90-100m).
It's very problematic.

The same with 1.6 on LG 990 in Czech Republic (+ 80-90m). Other GPS-based 
altimeters show either correctly or maybe +10m only.

ENHANCEMENT SUGGESTION: Add a numeric parameter Altitude displacement [meter] 
to allow altitude correction until good geoid calculation is done.

Anything new about this problem? Version 1.7.6, SGS2, altitude 90-100m too 
high, compared to real altitude and Radar and Garmin Street Pilot application 
on the same device, location Austria

Please take care of this problem - it's quite irritating and spoils my very 
good impression of Androzic. Worth to mention that closest alterative 
OziExplorer shows altitude correctly...

Version 1.7.6 on Samsung XCover2 - error of +70-80m in altitude. Checked 
against real heights in the field. Location Poland.

Indeed a correction or workaround as suggested above will be well appreciated.

Still nothing new about this issue?
lease give us a possibility to correct the GPS altitude. Where is the problem? 
Most other apps already have this feature an this is the onliest thing I don't 
like on Androzic...

Forget about Androzic, I'm now using OruxMaps which does not have this altitude 
problem.
