This app is super easy to use and perfect for planning meals. Some ideas for making it even better in the future:

What if we had sliders for adjusting the weights of each component? It could be a bit smoother than clicking buttons to adjust them.
Maybe also consider allowing users pick however many component options they want instead of sticking with just five.

In addition, I love how the statistics is shown in both a bar chart and a table, as it's much easier to read the numbers that way. Overall nice work!

Good job on this!

I would definitely use this for meal planning.
I like the breakdown of the macro nutrient total weights.
Can add a download link for a csv file for people to easily export this data into their personal macro nutrient tracker for future development.

Very nice app. I think this is really well done. Everything on the UI is lined up neatly. I have a few ideas for how you could build upon your work:

Since you are already encoding macronutrient type on the x-axis, you could consider using the colour channel for something else. For example, you could encode the input foods with colour so that you can see how much each food is contributing to each macronutrient.
There is a lot of blank/unused space on your app's UI. You could consider adding another chart, or perhaps expanding the UI to allow for multiple meals (one bar chart for each separate meal).
