What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Adding dsp_edcast.dll to Breakaway Broadcast Live as encoder-plugin
2. using SB Live with kx drivers in ASIO mode as input to BBL
3. setting ASIO latency greater than 2048 samples
4. child process refuse to start, if latency <= 2048 it works
with sound full of cracks (most likely due to the additional latency produced by BBL processor)
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Same as with edcastasio latency works from 8ms and up correctly, and
child process should start up with latencies greater than 2048 samples.
I am wondering could edcast asio be provided not as standalone but as winamp
dsp plugin, I might think that it would work.
What version of the product are you using? On what operating system? Which
type (DSP, Fraunhofer DSP, Standalone or ASIO)?
I am using windows XP SP2, latest version of edcast winamp plugin
edcast_winamp_3.37.2011.1214.exe

I still hear cracks in sound once asio latency is set to 2048 samples, tough
much better than when set to lower, and I would like to increase it more to
reduce pops and cracks. Latest KX drivers kxdrv3550-x86-full with SB Live
onboard chip: CT4760 10k1 [1c00]. Again if it would be possible to have
dsp_edcastasio.dll - not as standalone but as winamp dsp plugin then it might
sort the problem out of the box.
