My gallery thumsbnail size is stuck at 15px width #353

I just downloaded NextGEN Gallery v1.7.4 (Windows 7 64bit) and installed it 
into wordpress. I have managed to create a new gallery and upload images. 
According to the 'Options', the standard thumbnails should be 100x75, however 
my thumbnails are stuck at a size of 15x75. When resizing the thumbnails in 
'manage gallery', I am able to change the height, but the width remains the 
same (15px) no matter what value I insert. 

I am new to wordpress and CSS, What can I do? Is there somewhere in the coding 
I can resize the thumbnails manually?

Any help is appreciated
