Page permalinks question #420

For example: when I navigate to page 2 of my gallery (imagebrowser mode) and 
for example I click o a image from the page 2 I get this url format 
"wwww.example.com/nggallery/gallery/image-xx/page-2", how to remove the 
"page-2" from the permalink???

This is needed for the "carousel" mode, but I agrre that the permalink should 
be rework in this case. Will see what I can do
