Can't add images already in my media gallery

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. create gallery in NextGen
2. It only asks to upload NEW pics
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

Please provide any additional information below.
I don't have the original of these images they are simply in my media files 
already.  I can't download them to re-upload them again.  Is there a way to add 
images to the nextgen gallery from my media folder another way?

Currently not, you can import them via ftp, but I don't recommend this. Sync 
this planned for a future time
