Selection of preview image broken in galleries with large amounts of images

There is a list of images you can choose as the previewpic when you are editing 
a gallery. If you have enough images in this gallery, that they are sorted in 
several pages, this list does not show all images of the gallery. I think it is 
intended to show the images of the current page. But when you change the order 
of the images in the gallery, it differs from that. So what happens is, that 
you have to click through all the pages and on each page you hope that your 
image appears in the list. I concider this as a bug, eventhough there is a 
workaround.
