Ability to separate each picture into a separate post #449

Not necessarily a problem, but a feature request:

Would like the ability to separate each image in a given gallery into a 
separate post so that commenting etc can be enabled using Disqus or the 
standard comment system.

Granted, this could be done manually, but it would be a nice feature to have 
available for those with already large galleries. (currently at 451 images - no 
desire to manually repost all of them as separate posts)
