Drop-Down List popup window in post edit not populating

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Upgrade to Nextgen 1.9.0

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I expect to see a list of galleries on clicking the down arrow in the drop-down 
list. Same for list of albums etc. I get nothing. Have tried different 
machines, mac, PC, windows, IE7, 8, 9, Firefox, Opera. Always same. 

What WordPress / NextGEN Gallery version are you using? What browser are you 
using?
Wordpress 3.2.1
Nextgen 1.9.3
