I've just seen what you've doing. It's nice, but I realise I didn't actually say clearly what I was thinking at the time. What I was thinking is to get average hospital SHAP fir each of the top and bottom 9 hospitals, and you'd have a box plot with two boxes (each of which has come from the 9 average hospital SHAP values). Sorry - that's totally my fault for not being at all clear!!!
