Types of strategies

Generalist -Buys what is in hand unless planning to build a settlement. Randomly purchases dev cards.

Development card person

• Buys development cards first

Monopolist

• Special type of generalist that builds towards port after placing initial settlements around dominate resource type.

Easier trader

• Trades whenever own resources aren't in demand.
• Trades when trades don't hurt them

Average trader

• Trades whenever it benefits them

Samuel

• Trades to diversify resources (overvalues resources not in hand)

Difficult trader

• Only trades for most limited resource (resource with lowest probability of attaining on a role)
