I have created a new eclass starting from ideas that I found in your eclass and adding the idea of ​​go-module (https://wiki.gentoo.org/wiki/Writing_go_Ebuilds) to be able to have the previously downloaded modules

Hi @inode64 Thank you for sharing that and I'm very pleased for your great improvements there. Maybe we should propose it to guru overlay since it can be useful for the development of nodejs packages. If I remember correctly, I pick that nodejs.eclass from a previous proposal that was not accepted by gentoo and the reason was about the way upstream manages the dependencies. I will push the work you did into my overlay and any changes I do later for this eclass I will keep you informed doing a PR for your overlay. Let's keep Gentoo as the best distro ever and work together. See you ;)
