Web: Attempting to view PlayFrame YouTube feed breaks in web interface #1321

Recently (within the last week or so), the PlayFrame channel on YouTube seems to be broken in NewsBlur. New stories come in fine to the "All Site Stories" section, but if you try to click on the PlayFrame channel (I usually do this from the Saved section via the tabs at the bottom of the page), it seems to fail and reload the page. It also never shows any stories, no matter if it's set to show All or Unread. Other YouTube feeds seem to work fine, so something seems to be special about PlayFrame (although I can't imagine what it is).

Here's the URL of the channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC-7oMv6E4Uz2tF51w5Sj49w

I've tested this in both Safari and Chrome on macOS, so I don't believe it to be browser-specific. The iOS app seems to be fine.

If you need any more specific information, let me know and I'll do my best to get it to you.

Thanks!

Steps to reproduce:

After selecting PlayFrame, the view will reload into "unread" mode and no content will be visible in the stories pane.

I'm having trouble reproducing this bug! I have the saved story loaded, but it plays fine. Can you post a screenshot? Here's what I see:

Thanks for looking. Attached is a video showing the problem (captured with Quicktime on the Mac as a .mov; let me know if you need it in another format and I'll transcode it). I already have the PlayFrame channel added (renamed to just PlayFrame). I don't currently have a story saved, but you can see that it's set to "show all stories" and nothing is showing at all, so something weird is going on. Also, each time I try to click on the Saved button it "crashes" and goes back to Unread, like there's a fatal exception and it's just giving up and going back to a default safe state.

Not sure if you can debug that with just my username (jangell) or if you need the password to access it properly. I can send you the password privately if necessary (all the RSS streams are public; there's no sensitive data in there).

I did try to remove and re-add PlayFrame to NewsBlur, but I think that didn't delete the old PlayFrame history, since when I added it back it didn't show nay new stories, and the one saved story was still on my phone.

Thanks again!

Ok I just upgraded all of NewsBlur's front-end dependencies and I can't reproduce the issue, so try now and lmk if it's still happening.

Same result, I'm afraid, just like in the video from my last comment. Weird.

I wonder why it only affects PlayFrame. The other YouTube channels seem to be OK (I have a few dozen of them). It's why I'm wondering if it's something specific to my account's subscription to PlayFrame.

Is there a way to completely delete the PlayFrame feed from my account so I can re-add it as though it's a new feed, in a way that doesn't pick up my history?

Thanks
